Client: Heart Foundation
The Remote Active Living Project (RAPL) focused on engaging the community and key stakeholders to raise awareness of the impact of cardiovascular disease in remote Indigenous communities in the NT, SA and WA, and ran over two years.
Boab was commissioned to concept, design and artwork the RALP Final Report. The full publication comprised of six reports and thirteen appendices, totalling over 400 pages. Due to the diversity of topics covered in the various reports, a key design requirement was that the report could be easily navigated, and that the reader was able to extract individual reports and appendices.
Our creative solution was to have the full publication bound in a folder with each report and appendices bound separately so that they could be extracted and replaced as needed. We used two different stock colours for the reports and appendices to create aid with navigation, as well as a comprehensive colour coding for each part of the report, and a custom tab system.
