Darwin International Airport (DIA) asked us to refresh the overall look and feel of their brand, while not changing their existing logo. Before starting, we reviewed all existing marketing material and discovered that there was little cohesion between various marketing collateral.
We responded to this by developing a distinctive style that allowed for content and images to be placed in set areas, making all future advertising and marketing opportunities harmonious and consistent. We also looked at previous communications and found that DIA needed to give their audience more reason to travel, so we developed new positioning statements such as ‘Making time for living has never been easier’. This provided better incentives to travel, but most importantly made Territorians think about how easy it was to travel overseas and interstate from Darwin Airport.
